Numbers drawn were 2,4,12,17.  We had two match 3's who share €150: Caitriona Kavanagh, Annaghdown; James Fahey, Oranmore. Next lotto draw will be on Sunday September 3rd on Facebook Live at 9pm and the jackpot will be €26,250. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Tesco, Monaghan's Centra, The Trading Post, Ted McHugh's, The Angler's Rest and Varley's.

U-7's and U-9's hosted Caherlistrane for a blitz on Saturday morning. Thanks to our neighbours for accepting the invite.

U-11's play Barna at home at 10am on Saturday.

U-12's played Claregalway last Thursday. They led 1-4 to 0-6 at half time but lost narrowly in the end.

U-14 training on Tuesday at 7.30pm. They are away to Mountbellew/Moylough on Sunday in their first championship game.

U-15's played a strong Moycullen side in the shield final on Sunday and were narrowly defeated. They showed great resilience to come from twelve points down to lose by the minimum, 2-8 to 1-10.

U-17 division 4 team's latest game was at home to Salthill/Knocknacarra. A win would have seen them qualify for the final but unfortuantely the visitors came out on top 2-7 to 2-4. The division 2 team are away to Caherlistrane on Sunday at 11am in their B championship quarter final.

Our Junior's were away to Ballinasloe at the weekend in their final group game and won 2-13 to 1-11.

After a poor performance away to Menlough in the last round, the pressure was on the lads to get a victory to see them through to a semi final.

We made a lightning start, scoring 2-9 inside the first twenty minutes, and all from play as we ran our opponents ragged with slick movement and shooting. However we lost our way heading towards half time and only added one more point as the home side started to find their feet.

This continued into the second period as we struggled for possession and Ballinasloe were given a lifeline when they found the net with one of the first attacks of the half. They used the aid of a slight breeze to continue to claw us back, as we created some chances but were now struggling to convert. In the end we held our nerve and held on for a five point win despite only scoring 0-3 in the second half, 0-2 of which were crucial frees from Mark Earnor.

Best for us were Sean Birmingham, Mark Earnor, Reece O Toole, Dean O Malley and Eric Flynn.

Team- Shane Walsh, Sean Moran, Dylan Cunningham, Colin O'Reilly, Sean Lee, Reece O'Toole, Eric Flynn, Dean O'Malley (0-1), Evan Flynn, Josh Greaney, Paraic Walsh (1-0), Thomas Newell (0-1), Padraic Cunningham (0-3), Mark Earnor (1-5, 3 frees), Seán Birmingham (0-3). Subs used: Niall Meenaghan (0-1), Sean Meenaghan, Niall Fortune, Thomas Doyle, Alan Toher.

We play Athenry in the North Board semi final in late September.
