We had no winner in our Facebook Live lotto draw for a €19,800 jackpot on Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 1,5,9,28. We had three match 3 winners who share €150 :- Dolores Burke, Kilcoona; Peter Reddington, Eaglewood, Claran x 2. Next lotto draw will be on Sunday November 13th on Facebook Live at 9pm and the jackpot will be €19,950. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Monaghan's Centra, The Trading Post, Ted McHugh's, The Angler's Rest & Varley's. Our Intermediates defeated Williamstown, 0-12 to 0-10, in the third and final round of the relegation play offs but unfortunately we have still been relegated to Junior for 2023. A four point win was needed to stay up and we led by three points at half time, 0-6 to 0-3. Williamstown closed that gap during the second half and were level at one stage but our lads kept battling and opened up a three point lead again in injury time. We were unable to get that next point we needed and with time almost up a Williamstown free sealed our fate. In tough conditions, defences were on top throughout and scores from open play were at a premium with the majority of scores coming from placed balls. Thanks to the large crowd that travelled over to support the team. Our U-13's will play their final in the Galway City Leagues this Sunday in Bekan. Their opponents will be Killanin and throw-in is at 12.15pm. All support welcome. Our U-17’s play Claregalway in their shield final this weekend. Check out our social media for fixture details.
