We had no winner in our Facebook Lotto Live draw for a jackpot of €14,850. Numbers drawn were 9,14,24,26. There was one match 3 winner of €150 – Peter Hughes, Boston. Tickets for next weeks draw can be bought on our website and in Joyce's Supermarket, Monaghan's Centra, The Trading Post, Ted McHugh's, The Angler's Rest & Varley's. Next lotto draw will be on Sunday March 27th on Facebook Live at 9pm and the jackpot will be €15,000. Intermediates will look to build on their draw against Micheal Breathnachs in their opening game when they travel to Corofin on Friday evening. Throw in is at 7.30pm. U-16’s opened their league campaign at home to Caherlistrane yesterday evening in Headford. Full details next week. They are away to Kinvara next Tuesday. U-15’s have a double header in Headford on Sunday morning against Salthill/Knocknacarra. The A team play at 10am and the B team play at 11.10am. Colleges championship football is in full flow this week with three PCH teams in action. The junior team under the guidance of Barry Biggins (Shrule/Glencorrib) faced Calasanctius, Oranmore in Annaghdown on Monday. The 1st years who are coached by Joe Kelly (Kilmaine), were in Bekan yesterday, Tuesday, to play St Nathy’s, Ballaghdereen. They warmed up for that game with a good win against The Bish in Galway last week. The final team to see grass will be the juveniles who are trained by John Slattery (Dunmore) and they are at home to Pres Athenry on Friday morning at 10.30am in the GAA pitch downtown.
