We had no winner of our Facebook Live lotto draw for €20,000 jackpot last Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 1-3-16-24. We had four match 3 winners sharing €150 - Mary Fahy (Castleview), Tom Hughes (Mountross), Linda Dunleavy (Ballinful, Sligo) & Mary Shaughnessy (Roundfort, Hollymount). A big thank you to all for your continued support. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Joyce's Supermarket, Monaghan's Centra & The Trading Post. Next draw will be Sunday 29th August on Facebook Live at 9pm. Our 7th and final group game of the Junior Championship was called off as Menlough conceded the game. Well done to the team and management as their 3rd place in the group has earned them a semi final vs Corofin due to be played in 2 weeks time.
Best of luck to both our u-15 teams playing in the Féile this weekend. Hard luck to Headford resident Jeffrey Lynskey and his Galway u-20 hurlers last week in the All-Ireland Final. But well done to him on managing his county with distinction at both u-20 and minor level over the last number of years.
He can be very proud of his achievements.
