We had no winner of our Facebook Live lotto draw for €20,000 jackpot last Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 2-14-21-23.  We had four match 3 winners sharing €150 - Martina Carey (Salthill), Richard Geraghty (Skeaghbeg), Jarlath & Orla Keady (Ellagh) & John Heffernan (Kilconly). A big thank you to all for your continued support. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Joyce's Supermarket, Monaghan's Centra & The Trading Post. Next draw will be Sunday 22nd August on Facebook Live at 9pm.

Thanks to everybody who supported the club's fundraiser last weekend from Kilbeg Pier, be it all our participants, boat sponsors, event sponsors for all their ongoing support.

Kilbeg Anglers club members who so generously provided their time, equipment and expertise, the Murphy family as always for their generosity and welcome and most importantly all the wonderful volunteers from the local community - without their involvement it couldn’t have happened and who helped make the whole days events a such a wonderful success for all involved

The Intermediates were drawn in Group 1 of the Championship with Micháel Breathnach, Leitir Mor & St. Gabriel's. They face Micháel Breathnach in Round 1, the weekend of the 4/5th September.

Well done to the Juniors last Monday who put up a big score and a good performance to defeat Annaghdown 2-20 to 2-6 in Round 6 of the Championship.

This result takes us a step closer to the Semi-Final with 1 round of the group to play vs Menlough this Friday at home, time TBC.

Well done to the u-15 Division 2 team and management who became County Champions by defeating Dunmore in Corofin last Friday night on a scoreline of 7-8 to 2-17, after extra time. It was a thrilling game from start to finish and our lads showed great determination and skill to get over the line in the tightest of contests. Hard luck to Dunmore.

It was a fantastic night for the whole club as a tour of the parish followed with bonfires and flags greeting the victorious team and management home.

The result capped off a fantastic week in the club, county titles don’t come around too often and now we have 2 in the same age group after the u-15 Division 5 team won their County Title last week. History has been created, the club has not achieved this before.

Big thanks to Annaghdown who had us over for an U-7s blitz last Sunday morning with themselves and Caherlistrane.

Well done to all our young stars and their coaches.
