We had no winner of our Facebook Live lotto draw for €20,000 jackpot last Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 11-12-18-29. We had three match 3 winners sharing €150 - Kevin Hughes (Oaklands), Geraldine Geraghty (Boula) & Ava Glynn (Dunmore). A big thank you to all for your continued support. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Joyce's Supermarket, Monaghan's Centra & The Trading Post. Next draw will be Sunday 15th August on Facebook Live at 9pm. Thanks to everyone who helped out in any way for our very successful 5K Walk & Boat fundraiser in association with Kilbeg Angler's last Sunday. The weather was in our favour and it was great to see so many out and enjoying themselves. Huge thanks to our sponsors, without whom the event would not have been possible.
Hard luck to the Intermediate team and management who were defeated by Micháel Breathnach in the Division 3 league semi final last Saturday in Headford. In what was a highly entertaining game we eventually fell to a 0-17 to 4-11 defeat. We now have 4 weeks to prepare for the first round of the Championship.
The Juniors played Annaghdown last Monday in the 6th round of the Championship, where a win would put them closer to securing a North Board Semi-Final.
Well done to the u-15 Division 5 team and management who became County Champions by defeating Corofin at home last Wednesday night on a scoreline of 3-17 to 3-4. It was a fantastic night for the whole club and the atmosphere in Páirc Fhursa was electric, as captain Jake Noonan-Shanahan lifted the trophy in front of the home crowd.
The u-15 Division 2 team now prepare for their County Final this Friday vs Dunmore, with a 7pm throw-in at Corofin. Best of luck to everyone involved.
A big thank you to Kilkerrin/Clonberne GAA Club for travelling and playing our u-11 boys last week. Some great displays from both sides despite the downpour midway
