We had no winner of our Facebook Live lotto draw for €20,000 jackpot last Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 4-13-15-18.  We had one match 3 winner of €150 - Nancy Horan (Minane Bridge, Cork) . A big thank you to all for your continued support. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Joyce's Supermarket, Monaghan's Centra & The Trading Post. Next draw will be Sunday 1st August on Facebook Live at 9pm.

The club is very excited to announce a 5K walk & boat trip in association with Kilbeg Anglers on Sunday 8th of August. It promises to be a fantastic day for all the family. Full details on our social media & website where tickets are now available for the event.

The club along with St Fursyes were delighted to host a most enjoyable Cúl Camp 2021 in Headford.

Well done and thank you to all who helped out in any way during the week and in the build up. We had over 180 kids who were all a credit to themselves and got a well deserved treat of some ice cream yesterday 🍦 We hope they all enjoyed the week, it certainly looked like they were enjoying the fun in the sunshine

Thanks to the parents and guardians for their co-operation with Covid forms etc.

Thanks to all the coaches from our club, the county board and St Furseys and to the overall co-ordinator Louise Murphy for her tireless work.

The Intermediates faced Kilconly last Saturday in the last of their 3 group games in the league and won by 3 points, 1-13 to 1-10. They have now topped the group and await a semi final with 2nd place in Division 3B which has yet to be decided.

The Juniors defeated Dunmore on Friday in Headford in the fourth round of the Championship, 2-14 to 0-10. Once again the defence was brilliant at times with Eric Flynn and Brian Dunne the leaders, and Alan Toher bombing forward to score. Mike O’Brien, Daragh Conneely and Christy Day were excellent around the middle, while Eoghan Halloran and Cathal Newell were lethal up front.

Next up is Claregalway at home next Wednesday.

Well done to both our u-15 teams last Friday. Our Div 5 team kept their winning streak going in the final round of games against Corofin. They have now topped the group to earn a home Cup final.

Our u-15 Div 2 team also played their final group game last night away to Athenry. They held on to earn a draw to finish second in their group and move on to the Cup Semi Finals next.

Hard luck to the u-13 Division 1 team who lost out to fine Oranmore/Maree side in the County Semi Final last night. We couldn’t be prouder of our lads though after a great battling performance and for qualifying for the semi final by performing so well in the group.

With that the u-13 season comes to a close. Thanks to the coaches, John Finnerty, Enda Mannion, John Fahy, Sean Gillon, Paul Reynolds & Damien Mellett for their tireless work with the lads.

But most importantly we have to thank all 34 lads in the u-13 group who all had great attendance and brought great attitudes to training and matches.

Also, a special mention to Jack Curran who suffered an injury last night and we wish him a speedy recovery.
