We had no winner of our Facebook Live lotto draw for €20,000 jackpot last Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 2-7-11-32. We had three match 3 winners sharing €150 - Eamonn Kenny (Owermore), CHristy Moran (Headford) & Margaret Naughton. A big thank you to all for your continued support. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Joyce's Supermarket, Monaghan's Centra & The Trading Post. Next draw will be Sunday 18th July on Facebook Live at 9pm.
The Intermediates played their second league game in Division 3 vs Kilkerrin/Clonberne away last weekend and were very impressive as they won 0-13 to 0-8 to give them 2 wins from 2. The Juniors played their third Championship game away vs Kilconly also last weekend and made it 2 wins from 3 games in what was one of the games of the year. An all round team performance right was needed in this back and forth battle. Clive O’Sullivan made some fine saves, the defence was brilliant at times with Jarlath Lee, Eric Flynn and Sean Monaghan to the fore, while Thomas Newell, Niall Cunningham, Mark Earnor, Cathal Newell and Eoghan Halloran did the damage up front.
Special mention to Mike O’Brien on his return from a long term injury. Next up is Dunmore MacHales at home in 2 weeks time
The u-19s play Mountbellew/Moylough in their second Championship this Wednesday in Mountbellew after a good win last week over Menlough/Pearses.
Well done to the u-15 Division 2 side who beat Kinvara at home last Friday. An 11 goal thriller was played out by 2 fine sides with our lads winning by 4 in the end to send them top of the division with 5 wins from 5. Well done to the u-13 Division 1 team who played some impressive football in a big win over Corofin.
With all of their group games now played the team will have a break until the semi finals.
