We had no winner of our Facebook Live lotto draw for €20,000 jackpot last Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 7-9-12-27. We had three match 3 winners sharing €150 - Stephen Monaghan (Deerpark), Bridie Gillon (Clydagh) & Geraldine Geraghty (Boula). Promoter's prize went to Ann Monaghan. A big thank you to all for your continued support. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Joyce's Supermarket, Monaghan's Centra & The Trading Post.

Check out our website and social media pages where we will be uploading reports on each age group and how their 2020 season unfolded in the coming days and weeks. We also uploaded the 1998 U-21 County Final win over Carna/Cashel to our YouTube channel recently, see our social media for the link.

Thanks to all who made orders for club gear for Christmas. There are still some items available in stock if you want a stocking filler. Please contact Deirdre on 086-6082489 or Ciara on 087-1308273 for any inquiries.

The club are happy to offer a special offer price of €20 for Paul Kilgannon's latest book "Be the Best You Can Be in Sport" which has a contribution from our very own Michael Day. Michael is a Qualified Sports Scientist with a MSc in Human Nutrition.

The book would make an ideal Christmas present for any sports person. If you would like to order please email headfordlms@gmail.com before next Monday.

Really disappointing to see how our local GAA pitch and facilities have been abused lately.

Club volunteers have had to intervene in anti-social behaviour in the stand at night time while the team who do such great work to maintain our grounds have had to repeatedly remove broken glass, empty cans and rubbish from the pitch and stand areas.

Unfortunately we are not the only club in the area to suffer such issues in recent times. We are asking all parents and guardians to explain to their children and teenagers the importance of all our sports facilities to our community and to remind them that they need to respect these grounds.

Anybody found to be abusing the club facilities will face disciplinary action.

Please Note

The prize amounts above are what each winner will receive.
