We had no winner of our Facebook Live lotto draw for €20,000 jackpot last Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 9-12-13-18. We had three match 3 winners sharing €150 - Charlie O'Sullivan (Liss), Nora Duddy (Ballyconlaught) & Noel Lee (Tuam). Promoter's prize went to Callum Ryan (ARH). A big thank you to all for your continued support. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Joyce's Supermarket or Monaghan's Centra. Hard luck to our Intermediate team who lost to Cortoon Shamrocks in the first round of the Championship last Sunday in Tuam, 1-12 to 2-6. It was a tight game throughout and we led by 2 points heading into the last 10 minutes. Cortoon finished stronger however and scored 1-2 without reply. Thanks to all who applied for tickets and supported the team. We play Carna/Cashel in our second group game on Saturday August 15th at pm in Clonbur. Once again we expect crowd numbers to be limited so please express your interest to a committee member if you wish to apply for a ticket.
Great win for our minors last Wednesday evening in Headford over Cortoon Shamrocks, making it 2 wins from 2 in their Championship group. They play their third and final group game on Wednesday 12th August vs Milltown away. Well done to both our u-14 teams on 2 more hard earned wins last week. Our Div 2 team have now qualified for the Cup Semi Final with a game to spare and our Div 5 team have put themselves in a strong position to make their final as well. Our u-10s hosted Killererin last week. Some fine displays from our lads and big thanks to Killererin for a very enjoyable game. They also travelled to Kilkerrin/Clonberne last Sunday. Thanks to them for hosting us.
