We had no winner of our €20,000 lotto jackpot last Sunday night in Greenfield House. We had four match 3s winners sharing €150 - Margaret Brosnan (Ellagh), Jenny Walsh (The Friary), Angela Chapman (Clydagh) & Frances Martyn (Greystones, Co. Wicklow) . Numbers drawn were 2-9-18-30. Promoter's prize went to Ger O'Connell. Next week's draw will be for €20,000 and will be held in Keady's Bar on Monday night. Our AGM will take place on Saturday the 14th of December at 8.30pm in the clubhouse, everyone is welcome to attend. Headford GAA were delighted to recently present two cheques totalling €7,200 to Galway Hospice and Cancer Care West as part of the communities fundraising efforts and support of our inaugural TJ Keady Parish League Tournament that we held last Christmas. We would like to thank Thomas Conneally and Pat Joyce as the two main sponsors of last years event and to all the local businesses who generously contributed to help two charities doing Trojan work in our local community. Finally a massive thank you to the people of our parish who turned out in such big numbers to support the event and contribute so generously on the day itself. Hopefully this year's event can be as successful, details on that next week.
