We had no winner of our €20,000 lotto jackpot last Sunday night. We had two match 3 winners sharing €150 - Judy Lee (Culleen) & Janette Brady (Ellagh). Numbers drawn were 2-6-27-31. Promoters prize went to Ryder's Pharmacy. Next week's draw will be for €20,000 and will be held in the Thatch Bar on Sunday night. It was a successful weekend for our adult teams with the Juniors defeating Killererin on Friday, 1-12 to 1-7 to secure a semi final spot in the North Board Junior B Championship. The last of our group games will be played in 2 weeks time vs Annaghdown. On Sunday the Intermediate team finished off the group with a win and end up on top of the group with 6 points. The draw was made on Sunday and we face Cortoon Shamrocks in 2 weeks time in the Quarter Final. The official turning on of our new 350 Lux Floodlights took place last Saturday night when Minister Michael Ring and Junior Minister Sean Canney made a welcome visit to our Club on Saturday evening. Minster Ring played a big part in securing the €80,000 Sports Capital Grant which went toward the development of this fine facility. Our thanks to local Cllr. Andrew Reddington in organizing the visit. Well done to St. Fursey's Shauna Molloy and the Galway Ladies on their win over Mayo in the All-Ireland Semi-Final. The club will this week close the weekly shop opening night for 2019. The last night being August 26th.
