We had no winner of our €20,000 lotto jackpot last Sunday night in Campbell's Tavern. We had 7 match 3 winners sharing €150 - Hazel Murphy(Kilbeg), Marion Hackett (Cong Rd), Sharon Reynolds (Cloughanover), Dympna Reddington (Claran), Phil Jacques (Lisheenageeha), Emily Furey, Brenda Molloy (Claran). Numbers drawn were 6-22-29-32. Promoters prize went to Niamh O'Connell. Next week's draw will be for €20,000 and will be held in Murphy's Kilbeg on Bank Holiday Monday night. Well done to the Intermediates who produced a clinical second half performance vs Corofin on Sunday to take a hugely important win in their last scheduled game of the league. Promotion is still possible depending on one outstanding game, which may or may not be played. Attention now turns to 2 weeks time when the Championship returns, with the second round of games to be played. Hard luck to Mike O'Brien and the Galway u-20 Footballers last Saturday, defeated by Dublin in the All-Ireland Semi-Final. Well done to Mike for representing the club in Maroon & White this year. Hard luck to Monty Heneghan and the Galway Masters who lost to Roscommon last Saturday. They still have a chance to make the All-Ireland Semi Final however as they now face a 3 way playoff. The Club Shop is open every Monday evening from 7:30-8:30pm at the clubhouse.
