We had no winner of our €19,900 lotto jackpot last Sunday night in McHugh's. We had four match 3 winners sharing €150 - Daniel Greaney (Ballyhale), Joan & John Greaney (Ballyhale), Aidan Bane (Cloughanover) & Brid Garvey (Kilroe). Numbers drawn were 1-6-7-22. Promoters prize went to Daragh Geraghty. Next week's draw will be for €20,000 and will be held in the Thatch on Sunday night.

The National Féile took place at the weekend and we were delighted to be the host club for Aodh Ruadh from Ballyshannon, Donegal, along with St Furseys hosting Clonguish from Longford. It was a massive undertaking for both clubs and it is a credit to all involved that everything ran smoothly the whole weekend. Games took place on Friday & Saturday in Headford.

Hard luck to the u-14 team and management who lost to Baltinglass in the Féile Shield Quarter Final, also to our visitors Aodh Ruadh who lost the Cup Quarter Final in Bekan.

Last weekend was about far more than just results, more about enjoyment and making friends for life with fellow Gaels from outside the county, it was a fantastic experience for everyone.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped out in anyway with Féile & who supported our fundraising events along with St Furseys LGFA, which culminated with a presentation & disco on Saturday night for all 4 clubs involved.

Best of luck to Mike O'Brien & Galway u-20s, they play Roscommon in the Championship this Wednesday in Kiltoom. Also good luck to Padraic Cunningham & the Galway Seniors playing Mayo this weekend in the All-Ireland Qualifiers.

Well done to Seán Birmingham and Dean O Malley who played for Galway u-15 team last weekend in the Humphrey Kelleher Tournament in Cork

The u-16 lost heavily to Caltra last Tuesday but their earlier results were enough for them to finish in the top 4 of the league. This means that they qualify for the quarter final of the Championship which starts in 6 weeks time .

The Club Shop is open every Monday evening from 7:30-8:30pm at the clubhouse.

Please Note

The prize amounts above are what each winner will receive.
