We had no winner of our €19,750 lotto jackpot last Monday night in Keady's. We had two match 3 winners sharing €150 - Jane Hickey (Kilkenny) & Thomas Murphy (Kilbeg). Numbers drawn were 9-17-27-29. Promoters prize went to Andy O'Connor. Next week's draw will be for €19,900 and will be held in Ted McHugh's on Sunday night.
This weekend is a big one for the club as we participate in the All-Ireland Féile for the first time since 2003. The Féile is a competition for u-14s boys and girls.
Headford are in Group C of Division 6, from a total of 11 Divisions with 16 teams in each Division. We are playing our first 2 group games up in Balindine on Friday evening against Kilcormac from Offaly and Davitts from Mayo.
Our last group game is in Headford on Saturday morning at 10:45 against Aodh Ruadh from Ballyshannon in Donegal who we are delighted to be hosting for the weekend.
We will then have either a Cup or a Shield Quarter final on Saturday afternoon in the Connacht Centre in Bekan.
Huge congrats to our u-12 team and management on winning the Division 1A Shield Final last Sunday morning vs Corofin.
Missing from the team were Eric Creavan, Oisin McLoughlin and Eoin Kerrigan . Well done to management Enda Mannion, James Mullarkey, John Finnerty, Damien Mellett, John Fahy, Sean Gillon, Mark Murphy, Ann Marie Jordan and Peter Gavin.
