We had no winner of our €18,700 lotto jackpot last Monday night. We had four match 3s sharing €150 - Tom & Nora Darcy (Carnakib), John Joe Farragher (Annaghdown) & Peter Reddington (Claran), Jackie Fitzgerald c/o Keady's. Numbers drawn were 2-16-19-21. Promoters prize went to Isobel Flynn. Next week's draw will be for €18,850 and will be held in the Thatch Bar on Sunday night. Well done to Padraic Cunningham and the Galway Footballers last Sunday in London. Padraic started for the Tribesmen and scored a point in what was a tough game for the Connacht Champions. Well done also to Monty Heneghan & John C Davin, who played for the Galway Masters in their win over London. The Intermediates are back in league action this Sunday at 2pm, at home vs Micháel Breathnachs. Hard luck to the Juniors last Thursday, who came out on the wrong side of the result at home vs Corofin. This leaves them with 1 win from the first 3 games of Division 5, with their next game scheduled for this Friday away to Ballinasloe. Well done to the u-16s who made it 4 wins from 4 in the league last Tuesday with an impressive victory over Cortoon Shamrocks in Headford. This Tuesday they travel to Athenry for another tough assignment.
