We had no winner of our €18,250 lotto jackpot last Sunday night in Murphy's Kilbeg. We had three match 3s sharing €150 - Katherine Conroy (Clonbur), Noel Higgins (Donaghpatrick), Michael Joe Duddy (Keernaun). Numbers drawn were 3-19-22-23.  Promoters prize went to Simon Varley. Next week's draw will be for €18,400 and will be held in Greenfield Lodge on Bank Holiday Monday night.

Well done to the Intermediates who got their first win of the league at home on Sunday afternoon defeating Monivea-Abbey 1-12 to 0-6. They move onto 4 points, while also staying unbeaten in 2019. Next Sunday they are away to Menlough.

The Juniors lost out to a strong Annaghdown side last Friday night in the league 1-12 to 0-10, which leaves them with 1 win and 1 loss from their opening 2 games. Their next game is down for the weekend of April 28th.

Hard luck to the minors who battled well but lost out to Tuam Stars in their 3rd round league encounter in Headford by 5 points on Wednesday at home. However it was a decent team performance and the lads will be encouraged as they head to Kilkerrin/Clonberne this Wednesday.

Well done to the u-16 who made it 2 wins from 2 in the league last Tuesday night with a hard fought victory on the road vs Loughrea. Next week they are at home vs Mountbellew/Moylough.

Headford GAA Club and St. Furseys Ladies u-14s are holding a 5k Family Walk on Easter Monday the 22nd April next to raise funds for hosting teams for the forthcoming Féile, leaving from Murphys Kilbeg at 3.30 pm. Refreshments will be served after the walk and a children’s treasure hunt will take place along on the route. The u-14s will have sponsorship cards. All are welcome and we hope that you will join us on our walk.

The u-14 County Féile took place over the weekend. Our lads had 3 games, defeated by Craughwell and Kinvara but we won our game vs Oranmore-Maree. Unfortunately this wasn't enough to qualify from the group. They are now back to league action this Friday vs Dunmore at home at 7pm.

A reminder to all that our new opening times for the Club Shop are Monday 7.30 to 8.30pm. We are now fully stocked again with Headford GAA crested gloves. We have sizes to suit every age

Please Note

The prize amounts above are what each winner will receive.
