We had no winner of our lotto jackpot last Monday night in Keady's. We had three match 3 winners - Maureen Newell (The Friary), Susan Steede (The Square), Sharon Moran (Castleview).  Numbers drawn were 2-4-9-27. Promoter's prize went to Tom Varley. Next week's draw will be for €13,750 and will be held in the Thatch Bar on Sunday night.

The Intermediates had a convincing win over Carna/Cashel in their last group game of the Championship last Sunday in Clonbur, 5-17 to 2-3 the final score. The win was enough to see us qualify for the Quarter-Finals, where we will play Dunmore on the weekend of 22/23rd of September. Thanks to all who came to support the team and management.

The Juniors have qualified for the Junior B North Board Championship Final for the second year running. They play Menlough in the final, keep an eye on our social media pages for details.

The Minors will play Dunmore this weekend in the second round of the Championship, St. Brendan's had to concede to us in the first round of fixtures in the group.

The u-16's have qualified for the Shield Final after defeating Menlough 5-11 to 4-7, they play Mountbellew/Moylough in the final.

The u-14s play St. Michael's this Friday at 7pm in Headford in Division 2, all support appreciated.

Well done to our u-13 team who defeated St. Brendan's last Friday, making it 2 wins out of 2 in the league.

Hard luck to the u-12s who narrowly lost in the Dunmore league Division 1 final to Caherlistrane on Sunday.

Last Saturday we hosted the annual U10's Joyce's Supermarkets blitz.

Tuam Stars, Caherlistrane, Shrule/Glencorrib and Headford all gave a great display of football with Headford winning the cup and Caherlistrane winning the shield. Special thanks to Patrick Joyce from our sponsors Joyce's Supermarket who presented the trophies and to all of the parents who helped with the serving of teas/coffees and who brought treats/sandwiches. Also thanks to all the coaches/referees who ensured the day ran smoothly for all teams. Most importantly thanks to all the kids for putting in such a brilliant effort when conditions were not ideal. They are a credit to all their clubs and the future of football is very bright
