We had no winner of our lotto jackpot last Sunday night in Ted McHugh's Bar. We had no match 3 so we drew 5 lucky dips sharing €100 - Nora Duddy (Ballyconlaught), Rita Hughes (Ballyhale), Ronan Biggins (Galway Rd), Jane Hickey (Kilkenny), Margaret Naughton (c/o Ronan Keady). Numbers drawn were 3-18-19-26. Next week's draw will be for €12,400 and will be held in the Thatch Bar on Sunday night.
The Intermediates defeated Cárna-Cashel in the league last Sunday in Cárna to make it 5 wins from 6 games in Division 3. The result leaves us top of the Division. Our next game is the John Dunne Cup Quarter-Final this Friday at 8pm vs St. James' in Headford.
Well done to Michael Day, Padraig Cunningham & Aaron McDonagh all involved with the Galway Junior Footballers last Saturday when defeated Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Semi-Final. Daniel Garvey and James O'Brien are also to come back into the squad for the All-Ireland Final in 2 weeks time.
The u-16s play Mountbellew/Mountbellew at home on Tuesday at 7pm in Division 3.
The u-14's take on Clarinbridge in Division 2 on Friday at 7pm in Headford, where they will look to keep their winning run going.
Headford Cúl Camp is running from July 16th - 20th. Booking online is closing soon. We are urging anyone who is going to attend to please book in online, so that the organisers will know the numbers attending and therefore send plenty of coaches to the camp.
