We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €9,800 on Monday night in the Headford Arms. We had one match 3 winner of €150 - Geoffrey Corbett (Deerpark). Promoter's prize went to Billy Cunningham. Numbers drawn were 11-17-24-29. Next week's draw will be for €9,950 and will be held next Sunday night in the Angler's Rest Hotel.
The u-20s bowed out of the Championship following defeat at the hands of St. Gabriel's on St. Patrick's Day. 2-6 to 0-8 was the final score. Hard luck to the squad and management team of Tom Flynn, Rory Corbett, Justin Ryan & Paul Monaghan.
Our Intermediates had another 2 challenges over the Bank Holiday weekend. On Friday evening under lights in Headford, in what was a close game we edged out senior outfit St. James' by a single point. Then on Monday we drew away to Milltown. Thanks to Milltown for the hospitality before and after the game.
