We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €9,650 on Sunday night in the Thatch Bar. We had one match 3 winner of €150 - Cathal Murphy (Kilbeg). Promoter's prize went to Andy O'Connor (The Thatch). Numbers drawn were 7-17-18-31. Next week's draw will be for €9,800 and will be held next Monday night in the Headford Arms Risto Pub.
The club are hosting an open evening next Friday March 12th from 7 - 9pm. We are inviting all Players from all our club teams, Familly Members, Coaches and Executive Board Members to come down and enjoy the atmosphere and some of the following: - Launch of the Club Shop. - All our Juvenile members will be able to collect their registration gifts. - Intermediate team are playing a challenge match under floodlights. - Tea and coffee
- Registration will be available on the night but we are urging as many as possible to register online in advance on our website. The Intermediates defeated Cortoon Shamrocks last Friday night in their latest pre-season challenge. In what a controlled display we had some good performances from Cathal Newell, Aaron McDonagh, Eoin McHugh & Geoffrey Corbett. We are scheduled to play St. James' this Friday night in Headford at 8pm.
The Minors lost to Dunmore McHales in the opening fixture of the league at home last Saturday evening. Despite the 1-10 to 1-4 defeat we played some good football at times and Murcadh McCaul and Daragh Conneely played well. We may have another league game this Bank Holiday Monday.
