Credit must go to the entire squad who acquitted themselves excellently during this u-21 season that yielded wins over St. Brendan’s, Milltown & Kilconly (after a replay) to reach the final. There is a bright future ahead for these lads. Thanks also management team of Rory Corbett, Tom Flynn, Paul Monaghan & Justin Ryan for their effort. Best of luck to Glenamaddy/Glinsk in the County Final. Thanks to all supported the team throughout the season, especially last Saturday. The club would like to wish a speedy recovery to Mike O’Brien as he required surgery on his finger after an injury sustained during the match. Well done to Padraic Cunningham, who started a game for the Galway senior footballers for the first time last Friday in Castlebar, chipping in with two points from play, helping Galway to a narrow victory over Mayo. Unfortunately Padraic was injured during the game and was subsequently unavailable for the u-21 final the next day. The club are running a "Last Man Standing" competition which commences on the first weekend of February 03/02/2018.There are 2 simple ways to enter:
- Fill out the online form on Facebook and give the fee to a member of the club.
- Or club members will have paper forms you can fill out with your details and pick for the first week.
All entries must be received by Friday 02/02/18. Entry to the competition is €10 with a prize fund of €500 up for grabs.
