We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €6,500 on Sunday night. We had one match 3 winner of €150 –Alan Bane (Ellagh). Numbers drawn were 6-13-17-23. Promoter's prize went to Dean O'Malley. Next week's draw will be for €6,650 and will be held next Bank Holiday Monday night in Murphy's Kilbeg.
Hard luck to the Intermediates who were defeated by Barna last Saturday evening in the league, 1-13 to 2-15 was the final score. Unfortunately the result sees us rooted to the bottom of Division 3 after failing to get any points from our opening 3 games.
The juniors play neighbours Caherlistrane at home this Wednesday at 8pm in Division 5. All support welcome for the local derby.
Our u-15s played away to Clarenbridge last night (Tuesday). Report next week.
The u-13s were narrowly defeated by Kilkerrin/Clonberne last Friday in the league. However they will still be in contention if they win next time out vs Kilconly which is down for Friday 9th June.
Well done to our u-10 boys who began their Galway Go Games league on Saturday against Caherlistrane at 11am on our pitch. Our u-8 boys also began their Galway Go Games with a home match against Caherlistrane on Tuesday. Some great football played by all teams during the games.
We are running a "Predict the Score" Competition for the upcoming Galway vs Mayo game. First prize is €200. Lookout for players who will be selling lines for the next week.
