We had five match 3 winners sharing €150 – Mary Burke (Gortnamona), Bernie Loftus (Windfort), Mary Fahy (Castleview), Antonio Muroddu (c/o Headford Arms) & Pat Burke (Claregalway). Numbers drawn were 5-9-15-20. Promoter's prize went to Keady’s.  Next week's draw will be for €6,500 and will be held next Sunday night in Campbell’s Tavern.

The Intermediate squad are scheduled to travel to the Aran Islands this weekend for their Division 3 fixture. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for full details.

The Juniors are also in league action this weekend, they take on Mountbellew/Moylough away on Friday evening.

The minors have qualified for a League Shield Final vs Milltown. That game will be played once the Leaving Cert exams have ended.

U-16s suffered a very heavy defeat away to table toppers Athenry on Tuesday.

We travelled with just fifteen players and had to recruit four U-14's just to make sure we fielded. To make things even worse we were missing our goalie, full back, centre back and two midfielders due to injury and a wing forward due to illness. The game was over at half time as we trailed by five goals having played with the wind. Things went from bad to worse in the second half. Athenry continued to rattle the net right up to the final whistle.

Our players must be given credit for their effort on the evening and there's no doubt that when we are back at full strength after the exams we will be a match for anyone in our division. Thanks to all the parents who travelled in big numbers as usual.

The u-15s played Killererin last night (Tuesday), report next week.

The u-13s travel to Kilkerrin/Clonberne on Friday for their next game in the league, throw in at 7pm.

Well done to all our u-12s who took part in the Dunmore leagues. While we didn't make it to either final, it was really important in the development of the whole panel of 40 lads and great preperation for the Galway Leagues which begins in early July.

Please Note

The prize amounts above are what each winner will receive.
