We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €16,700 on Sunday night in the Thatch Bar. We had two match 3 winners sharing €150 - Paul Johnstone (Loughawanna) & Josie Geraghty (Curramore). Numbers drawn 10-16-21-25. Promoter's prize went to Monaghan's Centra. Next week's draw will be for €16,850 and will be held next Sunday night in the Headford Arms Risto Pub. Thanks to all who attended our registration nights held on Thursday & Friday last week. If you have not signed up for membership you can do so by logging on to www.headfordgaa.com.Membership is due for all underage & adult players as well as social members. The Intermediate team started their 2017 season on a winning note on Sunday morning, coming out 1-11 to 1-9 victors over Monivea/Abbey in the first group game of the John Dunne Cup in Headford. Although it was a scrappy affair we deserved our win after battling hard throughout the game. Sean Moran, Niall Meenaghan & Eoin McHugh were among our top performers on the day. Next weekend we will play our second group game, away to Oranmore-Maree. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for details of date and time. Unfortunately our minor league game vs Milltown on Saturday was again postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Our opening game was also postponed. We are now fixed to play St. Gabriels away on Saturday at 5pm. Training continues Wednesday at 7pm.
