Draw took place on Sunday night in Varley's. We had no jackpot winner. We had just one match 3 winner Breege Meenaghan, Promoters prize went to Tom Varley. The u-16's season came to an end when they were overturned by a very strong Leitir Mor team in the Quarter Final of the Championship. The management of the team would like to thank the players for their commitment throughout the year and the parents for their continued help with transport to games and support of the team. The squad had a fine campaign reaching a league final and competing very well in the championship. The club would like to thank the management team of Kevin Lee, Sean Kenny and Noel Egan for their dedication and excellent level of training.
Finally well done to Niall Egan who has been selected for the U-16 Galway (North) panel for the upcoming games of the Ted Webb tournament. Colin O'Reilly, Robert Forde & Eoghan Halloran were unlucky to just miss out on the panel. Best of luck to Niall in the tournament which takes place this weekend.
The minors are due to play the first round of the Championship this Friday at 8pm away to Dunmore. That fixture is subject to change, keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.
Once again best of luck to Michael Day and the Galway Senior Footballers in the Connacht Final Replay this weekend following their draw with Roscommon on Sunday.  |
