We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €8,500 last Sunday night in the Thatch Bar. We had two match 3 winner of sharing €150 - Declan Murphy (Kilbeg) & Tommy Murphy (Kilbeg). Numbers drawn were 15-22-25-26. Promoter's prize went to Geraldine Geraghty. Next week's draw will be for €8,750 and will be in the Corrib on Sunday night. The unveiling of our new club sponsor and new club jersey took place last Saturday night at the club social in the Claregalway Hotel. Our thanks to local business men Pat & Patrick Joyce of Joyce's Supermarkets who have come on board as our main sponsor. Special thanks to Conor Carey of CMCC for his loyal and generous sponsorship and support over the last decade.
Thanks to special guests County Board representatives Noel Tracey, Seamus O'Grady and Galway senior football manager Kevin Walsh for attending and presenting awards on the night. The Kevin presented our under 21 team and management from last year with their North Baord and County medals, while Noel presented a special commemorative award to members of the 1966 County Junior Championship winning team, to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the famous win. Congratulations to all who collected awards on the night - Paul Monaghan for special commitment to the club, Conor Carey for his sponsorship, Tom Corbett, Kevin & Ger Lee to celebrate their achievements with the Galway Masters & Kevin Lee for Clubman of the Year. Thanks to Don Stiffe for providing the entertainment om the night.

Our underage registration nights will take place at the clubhouse on March 2nd and 3rd from 7-9pm. Membership Fee - €50 per child (including socks & shorts) - capped at €120 in the case of 3 or more children in the family. Our u-13s are fixed to play St. Brendan's in the league this Sunday at 11am in Headford. Our u-21s play Mountbellew/Moylough in the Semi-Final of the North Board Championship. That game could go ahead this weekend, keep an eye on our Facebook page for a fixture.
