We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €17,350 last Sunday night in Ted McHugh's Bar. We had three match 3 winners - Ricky Ward (Tuam), Patricia Steed (Headford), Lauryn Mooney (Ballyconlaught). Numbers drawn were 3-15-20-22. Promoter's prize went to Varley's Pub. Next week's draw will be for €17,500 will be in the Angler's Rest Hotel on Sunday night. The club would like to congratulate over 100 children from the parish who participated in the annual cul camp this week.We at the club would like to thank all the parents and children for getting involved.We would also like to thank co-ordinator Tom Hughes and all the coaches.We cannot let the occasion pass without mentioning the great thrill it was for our children to get coached all week by 2 Galway Senior footballers Damien Comer and Liam Silke. Our Junior B's secured their status in Division 5 for next year in what could only be described as a dogged win last Friday night in Headford over Corofin on a scoreline of 0-7 to 0-6. Cathal Newell was in fine form in front of goal and he scored 6 of our 7 scores. Christy Day in midfield was our stand out performer around the middle third, with Conor O'Malley having yet another great game at wing back. We now have 3 wins from our 6 games so far and await Oranmore/Maree in our final league game as we continue to prepare for Championship in August.
