We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €16,750 last Sunday night in Murphy's Bar, Kilbeg. We had two match 3 winners - The Redmond's (Muckcourt), Martin Walsh (Cong Rd). Numbers drawn were 8-13-19-22. Promoter's prize went to James Walsh. Next week's draw will be for €16,900 will be in Murphy's Bar, Kilbeg on Sunday night. In what was a lackluster performace the win was all important to stave off the threat of heading into a relegation battle. The Junior B's had a fine win over Mountbellew/Moylough in the league on Sunday, 1-13 to 0-9 the final score. Hard luck to the u-16s who were on the wrong side of the result in the League Shield Final last Friday evening. In what was an exciting game of football, Caherlistrane deservedly took the honours on a final scoreline of 2-12 to 3-6. Best for Headford were Darren Higgins, Mikey O'Brien and Jamie Walsh. We now look forward to the start of the Championship next month.
