We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €16,600 last Sunday night in Campbell's Tavern. We had two match 3 winners - Sorcha McGee (Roscahill), Frances Walsh (Ballycasey). Numbers drawn were 7-22-23-24. Promoter's prize went to Tom Murphy. Next week's draw will be for €16,750 will be in Murphy's Bar, Kilbeg on Sunday night. A good second half performance wasn't enough in the Cahill Cup Semi-Final last Saturday in Tuam Stadium vs Williamstown. 1-9 to 1-7 the final score. Best for us were Evan Flynn and Johnny Leahy. This week is the big one vs Clonbur in the Intermediate Championship. That throws in at 3.30pm on Saturday in Tuam Stadium. A huge effort is needed to see the lads over the line so please do your best to be there to support them. Our u-16's play their League Shield Final vs our neighbours Caherlistrane this Friday at 7.45pm and will be played once again in Tuam Stadium. Congratulations and well done to U-12 midfielder Mark Earnor on being selected to represent Galway in the Cumann Na mBunscoil game against Mayo last Sunday in Pearse Stadium prior to the Connacht Senior Football Semi- Final .Mark is the son of Michael and Martina Earnor Knocklahard and he recently captained Claran National School to victory in the County Final. The U14s were in Championship action last Friday night and must do it all again in a replay as they drew with Clarinbridge. Scoreline in the finish was 3-3 to 2-6.
