We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €16,300 last Sunday night in the Angler's Rest Hotel. We had four match 3 winners - Gerard Toher (Ower), Dena McTigue (Cross), Damien Monaghan (Caherlistrane), E McDermott (Ballinvoher Caherlistrane). Numbers drawn were 3-17-27-31. Our Intermediates showed great heart to overcome Monivea-Abbey last Friday to put their first 2 points on the board in Division 3. Goals won the game for us with the final score 3-5 to 0-11. Two from the lively Shane Walsh and one early on from the outstanding Dylan Corbett set us on our way. We had other standout performances from Reece O'Toole & Paraic Walsh. This was a badly needed win after two losses in our opening two league games.

 

Our Division 5 (Junior B) league game vs Caherlistrane due to be last Monday was postponed due to an unplayable pitch. 

Our next game is away to Milltown at 8pm Friday.

 

Good luck to the students in 4/5/6th class from Claran National School involved in the Cumann na mBunscoil County Final this Wed 3rd June at 10am in Loughgeorge. All support welcome!
