Open Singles Thursday 10th July
This week’s Open Singles winner was Junior golfer Padraig Guiney with an impressive 41 points.
Senior Cup 2104
Last week-end saw some of the best golfers in West Munster visit Newcastle West to compete in the Senior Cup section finals. Teams from as far away as Bantry Bay and Glengariff travelled to play our course and all were very complimentary of the condition of the course and indeed all our facilities. Our own team played fantastic golf but were pipped in the final by near neighbours Doneraile.
International Pairs Qualifier – 13/07/14
Last Sunday we held a qualifier for the International Pairs Club Final which is scheduled for August 16th. There will only be a few more chances to qualify for this fantastic final so we would encourage all members and visitors to enter at every opportunity if you would like the chance to represent your country at the World final in Scotland.

All at the club wish Frank Moore the very best as we look forward to what will be a fantastic weekend of golf on Captain's Prize weekend, Saturday and Sunday next.
This year there will be a nine hole play-off on Sunday evening for the top twenty seven best scores to decide who will take home the most coveted prize of the year.
