Saturday 17/08/2024: Intermediate Championship, Group 3, Round 1: St Michaels’ v Oranmore at 4:45pm in Kenny Park, Athenry.
Wednesday 21st August: Under 19 B Championship West: St Michaels’ v Carraroe.

Under 15 Division 3 County Semi-Final: Ballinasloe 3-09 -- St Michaels’ 1-05.
Under 17B West: St James 0-10 – St Michaels’ 3-15.
Under 19B West: St Michaels wo Spiddal.
Primary Junior 2 Championship West: St Michaels’ 3-17 – Bearna 2-11.
News: St Michaels’ Juniors put the wheels back on the bike last weekend with a victory over Bearna following their first group game defeat to Salthill the week before. They play Moycullen and Claregalway in their next games. (Moycullen this Friday evening at 7pm). Group Toppers go straight to a County Semi-Final while the 2nd & 3rd placed teams will interplay quarter finals (West 2 v North 3 & North 2 v West 3. The teams in the Northern part of this competition are: Annaghdown, Corofin (3rd team), Tuam Stars & Mountbellew/Moylough. The team that lined out the last day for St Michaels’ was: G. Rogan, C. Keane, J. Downes & R. Mac Giolla Rí. C. Cloherty, F. Cruise & L. Brannigan. F. Daly & D. McGovern. D. Sinton, E. Fiorentini & M. Maguire. C. Morley, D. Connaughton & D. Thornton. Subs: C. Meagher, C. Horan, E. Hoare, S. O’ Reilly, E. Coffee, A. Ryan, P. Mulkerrins & K. Keady-Coakley. E. Fiorentini, D. McGovern & D. Connaughton scored the goals.
After losing the County Semi-Final to Ballinasloe last week, the Under 15s play the Shield Final tonight against CCNP.
The Under 17s had a great win over St James’ this weekend and are currently joint top of the table after 4 rounds in the eight-team league. Goals from Sean Keane, Sean Butler and Cathal O’ Toole that done the damage.
A big weekend coming up for the adult men of the Club, with Primary Junior 2 on Friday evening in Moycullen and it’s over to Athenry the next day for St Michaels’ v Oranmore in Round one of the Championship. Best wishes to Players & Management as they set out on their 2024 journey.
Weekly Draw: Numbers drawn in this week’s Peter Curran Electric St Michaels’ GAA Club Draw were: 06-18-21-24. There was no winner of the Jackpot. James Tierney c/o John Kenny @ St Michaels’ Supporters’ Club and Liam Curran c/o Tom Nally @ St Michaels’ GAA Club shared the Match 3 prizes. Next week’s draw will take place on Monday night 19th August for a jackpot of €3,200.00.
