The much awaited return to play after the easing of some Covid-19 restrictions will happen for the St Michaels’ players this week. The Boys under 14s & under 15s will be on the pitches on Wednesday at 6:30pm under the watchful eye of Keith Walsh. Sean Summerville and the Ladies’ Under 16 & Under 18s will also be there at that time. Eddie Hoare will be honing the skills of the Under 16s & under 17s on Friday evening at 6pm. The girls’ Under 6s all the way up to Under 14 will commence training on Thursday next at 6pm. All players including new players are most welcome and must be registered beforehand. Needless to say, Covid rules apply and training will take place in groups no greater than 15 and anybody with Covid Symptons is asked not to attend. Sunday morning is the busy time for the boys, with Under 6s all the way up to Under 13 on the pitches at 11am on Sunday morning. Full details on Registration and the times & contact numbers for the different age groups are available on Social Media. Tonight’s numbers in the Peter Curran Electric St Michaels’ GAA Club draw were: 5-11-14-29. There was no winner of the jackpot or match 3 prize. The Lucky Dip prize sponsored by Chris Elwood at “Cocos, Salthill” was won by Eddie Hoare (a man known to be a good judge of a Power Salad!). This week’s draw will take place for a jackpot of €2,100.00. Thank you for your support.
