We played Galtee Rovers in West Intermediate quarter final in Dundrum on Saturday last. After a tense first half we went in at the break a point down with Galtee Rovers leading on a scoreline of 0-07 to 0-06. A well taken goal by substitute Mattie Feehan shortly after the break set us on our way and we won out on a final score of 1-14 to 1-09. The team lined out as follows: Seamus Butler, Andy O’Brien, Paul Shanahan, Declan Hickey, Denis Stapleton, Sean Hickey, Tom Hickey, Jamie O’Toole (0-02), Seamus Carey, Donncha O’Brien, Sean Kennedy (0-03), Jody Ryan (0-01), Brian Carey (0-03), Sean Ryan (0-01), Tom Ryan (0-01). Subs used: Mattie Feehan (1-02), Pat Deegan (0-01) and Simon Kennedy County Intermediate hurling championship
We play Kilsheelan-Kilcash in round 3 of the County Intermediate championship in Golden next Friday at 7.15pm in Clonoulty
