Committee meeting

The first local GAA committee meeting this year took place at Kilcommon Community Centre and will be our chosen venue on the second Wednesday of every month at 8 pm (9 pm in the summer) for the duration of our club house development in 2009. The Building sub committee reported that our builder will commence the sports complex by the start of February. Billy O’Toole heads up the new finance sub committee which will have responsibility of fundraising for 2009. Membership will be collected by Ger O’Toole in the coming weeks as he needs to complete registration soon. Fr Woods has kindly agreed to say Mass for the deceased members of our club on Monday 23rd February. Sean Treacys was founded and made successful down the years by many great people who have passed on to the next life and it is fitting that we turn out in our numbers to pray for and to them.
