We fell to defeat to a strong Galtee Rovers/Golden Kilfeacle side in our opening game on a scoreline of 5-18 to 5-9. Facing a seemingly insurmountable 17 point deficit at half time we responded in the 3rd quarter with a glut of score to reduce the deficit to 6 points however the defending champions rallied and closed out the game in front. We now take on Clonoulty Rossmore in a must win game on Wednesday 6th at 6.30pm in Emly. Our final game in the group series is against Arravale Rovers at 6.45pm in Kilcommon. In our first round game of group 4 we prevailed after a tough battle in difficult conditions with an understrength Lattin Cullen Gaels. We followed up with varying fortunes against recently relegated Boherlahan Dualla whom we defeated in Kilcommon on a scoreline of 2-13 to 0-11. We then travelled to Ballinahinch to take on the defending champions. In a game played in woeful weather conditions we were defeated on a scoreline of 0-06 to 0-14. West Junior B League
We kick off proceedings in this competition by traveling to Solohead on Tuesday April 12th at 7pm. The other games in this group will be against Cappawhite, Clonoulty Rossmore and Rosegreen.
