The lotto draw was held this week. The numbers drawn were 3,5,18 & 19. Brooke Gilchriest Dooner was the outright jackpot winner of €4700. CONGRATULATIONS Brooke. Winners of the €40 Patsy Gormley and €20 were Mel Skelly, Therese Killian and Micheal Barden. The next lotto draw will take place in the Chestnut Tree Killashee on 31st March 2024 for a Jackpot of €2000.
SYMPATHY There was widespread sympathy and heartbreak throughout the parish on Sunday upon hearing the sad news of the passing of Lizzie Edgeworth. Lizzie was a very much loved member of our club and parish whose contribution and service over many decades are immeasurable. The large turnout at Lizzie’s removal yesterday evening was testament to the high esteem in which she was held throughout the parish and county. She will be sadly missed but greatly remembered by everyone at St Brigid's. We offer our sincere condolences to the Edgeworth and Casey family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
