LAST MAN STANDING
Evenings closing in but lots to look forward to, flags and bunting out for Intermediate Final, clubhouse development progressing well and our Last Man Standing competition 3 weeks away. Online entries can be done on clubforce, or sign up in McPartlands or with any committee member. Entries cost €10 with a prize of €500 to be won. Games come thick and fast from November 20th to Christmas, so spread the word and get your entries in.
INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL 2021
We play Ballymahon in the Mulleady Group Intermediate Football Championship Final next Saturday evening 6th November in Glennon Bros. Pearse Park, Longford at 3pm. There is great anticipation and excitement in the parish as our club reaches its second Intermediate Final this year. This is a rare and unique achievement for any club and hopefully St. Brigid's can make history by bringing the Gerry Hennessy Cup back to Killashee next Saturday evening for the second time this year. Judging by the number of green and white flags and bunting flying throughout the parish St. Brigid's will bring a large number of supporters to cheer on the team on Saturday Eveyone in the parish whole heartedly wishes our manager Ray, his selectors and most of all the team every good luck in the final. Tickets for this game are only available online and can be purchased by visiting Longford GAA website. Please note there will be no entry on the day by paying at the gate.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The club will hold its AGM on Saturday 20th November. Nomination forms need to be filled out and returned to Anne Evan's Secretary by 13th November.
