DEVELOPMENT DRAW
We reached 1,500 in ticket sales last week and well done to all sellers for their efforts up to now but we are calling on you all for a big push on sales for May as we can return to in person selling from May 10th and hopefully see lots of teams of sellers out and about during May.
We expect building work to recommence on Tuesday 4th May and while it will be great to see the development take shape that also means that the bills will also start coming in, anyone with tickets sold can you please return them to committee as soon as possible in order to keep our development moving.
Many thanks to Casserly's Spar, Lanesboro for allowing us to sell tickets outside their premises last Saturday, tickets sales were very good and thanks to those who helped out on the day and also a big thanks to those who purchased tickets. We are hoping to get more sales stands at other premises in the coming weeks.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP.
Club membership for 2021 season is now open and can be purchased online by visiting play.clubforce.com and choose Killashee St. Brigid's GAA, or can be paid to our club registrar Liam Farrell.
Membership for 2021 is as follows:
Adult player €40.00
Student player €20.00
Adult non player €20.00
Family membership €50.00
SCRAP METAL
As with scrap metal prices rising we are in the process of completing a consignment for recycling. We are hoping to have a load completed within the next few weeks. If anyone has any scrap metal to dispose of it can be dropped off in a safe manner at Liam Farrell's workshop Mon. - Fri. 8.30am -6pm or Sat. 8.30 am -1pm. If you wish to have it collected or in doubt about acceptable scrap items you can contact Liam on 086 1632842. All monies raised goes towards the running of our club.
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to our club and county goalie Pat Farrell and Emily Cullen on their recent engagement. The club would like to wish them both every happiness for the future.
SYMPATHY
The club would like to extend its sympathy to the McPartland family, Clondra on the recent death of Frances's brother Joseph Noone, Summerhill, Athlone and also to the family of the late Michael (Mickey) Farrell, Longford town. May their souls rest in peace.
