On the sports front our senior hurling team had their first
outing of the year in a challenge match against Lorrha. We were well beaten in
the finish but at least the lads now have a match under their belt and
hopefully all injuries will be cleared up by championship time. This weekend
the seniors play Tullaroan of Kilkenny in a challenge match in the field at
11am Sunday morning. This Saturday evening at 4pm in Bansha our U/21 hurling
team open their season with a first round game against a combo of Emly/Solohead.
