The draw for this week’s lotto took place yesterday evening
in Tuohys. There was no winner of the jackpot prize of €13600 which

On the
sports front last weekend our minor footballers were beaten by killenaule in
the county semi final in Cashel. Killenaule were highly fancied coming into the
game and really got a grip off the game right from the start. At half time the
Golden lads were well behind but to their great credit they emerged a different
team in the second half really taking the game to killenaule and scoring three
goals. Hard luck to Michael Doyle and his team.
Also last
Saturday evening the junior B hurlers played a challenge match against
Ballyduff junior A team in the field. Ballyduff had a very good team out and
were ran out winners but it was an excellent challenge for both teams.
This
weekend coming the minor hurlers face Knockmealdown Gaels in the county semi
final in Cahir at 4pm. This promises to be a cracking game, we wish Ger Luby
and the lads all the best of the luck. They have some injuries coming into the
game, Shiner Ryan and Christopher Ryan but hopefully both will be ok for the
big game.
On Sunday then the Junior B footballers are in
the west football final against Sean Treacys. This is expected to be a close encounter,
they drew last time they met in the league stages. This game takes place in
Bansha at 12 noon. Best of luck to manager Gavin Ryan and all the players
