The draw for this weeks lotto took place yesterday evening in the Bridge House. There was no winner of the jackpot prize of €8000 which means that next weeks draw will be up to €8500 There was also no winner of the €1000 euro draw. The numbers drawn were 5, 11, 24, 26.

On the sports front the intermediate footballers were well beaten by Cappawhite in the west intermediate football championship in Solohead last Saturday night. The team was short a number of regulars through injuries and holidays, they now must win at least two of their rmaining games to qualify for the semi finals.
Elsewhere the Junior footballers played their first round of the west championship last night against Emly. Although they wer six points down at one stage the lads played some great football to get back in the game and scored 1-3 in the last five minutes to earn an excellent draw.
The junior hurlers were well beaten in a challenge match against the Boherlahan Junior A team on Monday evening. They play Arravale in the next round of the championship this coming Sturady night,
Our senior hurlers are down to play Colonoutly in the next round of the senior hurling champiohsip on friday night. Tiere is however a possibiility that this game might be off due to a number of players currently doing the leaving cert.
