Three match 3s – John Murphy, Abbey, Eileen Ryan Gills and Fergus Higgins, Singapore. The seller's prize went to Patricia Langan. Next week's jackpot is for €2600 with draw in Rafterys. MENS NOTES: Our seniors and intermediates both advanced to the second round of the championship with wins over Salthill-Knocknacarra and Athenry respectively. The seniors had a 0-15 to 2-6 victory, with both Salthill goals coming from penalties. The intermediates finished level with Athenry on full time at 11 points each. However, two goals from Paddy Madden secured an extra time victory by 2-12 to 0-13. Congrats to both teams on their wins. The seniors return to action on Friday evening when they play Mountbellew/Moylough in the league at 8.00 pm in Corofin. Well done to all involved in our All-Ireland Medal Presentation Social, which was held in the Claregalway Hotel on Saturday. The night proved to be very enjoyable and successful. Our under 14s had a good win over Caherlistrane in the league on Sunday morning. We have now qualified for the North Board league final Under 12s travel to St. Mary's GAA club in Sligo on Saturday to take part on the Paddy Clifford tournament . Under 10s and 9s play Tuam Stars on Saturday morning in their first league match. Players are to meet at 10.30 in the Tuam Stars grounds on the Dublin Road. Under 8 and 6 continue their training at 10.00 in Belclare on Saturday. The Raftery cup is refixed for Thursday 4th of June in Corofin starting at 5.30. All match times are as for the original fixture.
