We had no winner of our lotto from the numbers drawn 5, 8, 15, 25.  Three match 3s – Katherine Burke, Angela Coen, Francis Hanley.  Seller’s prize to Úna Molloy.  Next week’s jackpot is €15,500 and draw is in the Cellar Bar.

MEN’S NOTES:

The All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship Semi-Final takes place on Saturday 14 February in O’Connor Park, Tullamore, at 2.00 pm.  We play the current All-Ireland Champions, St. Vincent’s, Dublin.  So start making your plans to travel to Tullamore and celebrate Valentine’s Day with us.  If you are unable to travel, the game will be shown live on TG4, but “Nothing beats being there!”

The club AGM takes place on Friday 23 January at 8.00 pm in the Community Centre, Belclare.  Motions or any Nominations for any committee position or team mentor must be received by the club secretary Jimmy McHugh, by 5.30 pm Wednesday 21 January. Nomination papers and other documentation in relation to the AGM can be downloaded from the club website.

 

Celebrate the Club’s success in 2014 by attending our Annual Club Social which will take place in the Claregalway Hotel on Saturday 24 January, commencing at 7.30 pm.  Join our County, Connacht and League Champions and our under 21 team, winners of North Board and County titles.  Music is by Double Deckers and tickets, costing €30, can be obtained from committee members.

LADIES FOOTBALL:

Please note for your diary that the Corofin Ladies AGM will be held on Friday evening 30th January at 8pm.  The venue will be confirmed shortly.  If you are a voting member, please start considering who you would like to nominate for the various voluntary roles within the Club.  We welcome all people interested in volunteering to help us in any capacity.  In particular it will not be possible for one person to continue as Chairperson, Secretary and Registrar in 2015.   So volunteers for these roles would be very welcome.  Please speak to David Gower if you wish to talk about any role within the Ladies Club.
