LOTTO: Five lucky people had match 3 in our lotto, namely Julie Comer, Alan Loughlin, Anne Cullinane, James Newell, Emma McTigue. However no one was lucky enough to win our jackpot which has now reached €14,150. The numbers drawn were 1, 4, 7, 25. The sellers’ prize went to Nora Hussey. Next week's draw is in the Hibernian Bar. MENS NOTES: Well done to our seniors who have qualified for the Connacht club final following their win over Aughawillan (Leitrim) by 7-20 to 0-6 on Sunday. McHale Park in Castlebar has been confirmed as venue for the final versus Ballintubber (Mayo), with throw in at 2.00 pm. Our U-13’s won the David Canney final, which was played on Saturday. Well done to the team, mentors and all parents who supported the lads. The Prediction Quiz leaderboard has been updated following the weekend Autumn Rugby International, in which a total of 4 tries were scored when Ireland defeated South Africa. With only 1 event remaining – “Who will win the 2014 Galway Senior Hurling Championship?” – Derek Ryder has a narrow lead over Jonathan Tierney, with a number of other players not far behind.
