Did you know that 15 Galway clubs have won All-Irelands (7 hurling, 3 football, 5 Camogie)?  As one of those clubs, we are being asked to join legendary sporting heroes to participate in the Cormac Connolly Memorial fundraising walk in aid of Pieta House.  This memorial event is to acknowledge Cormac’s determination, courage and dignity in his fight for life which ended peacefully on 25th July 2011 surrounded by those who loved him.  The Corofin GAA club is being asked give a hand supporting the event on Thursday 28th of August.  More details will be available on the club website shortly.
