MENS NOTES:
We are requesting that you give your full support to our senior footballers as they take on Salthill / Knocknacarra in the county championship final next Sunday, 13 October at 4.00 pm in Tuam Stadium. We are asking everyone to wear their Corofin colours and bring a flag to the match on Sunday. Your support is always appreciated.
You can still send good luck wishes to the team on the club website – www.corofingaa.ie. The “predict the score in the county final” competition is still running. Cards have been widely distributed. Lines are on sale for €2 each. Winner will receive a Corofin football jersey in his/her size and an O'Neills football signed by the senior team.
Please return all your ‘predict the score’ cards to your school by Thursday. We need the sold sheets, so we can get the sellers prizes out to the winners before Friday. Thanks very much to the sellers and also a big thank you to the schools for letting the kids sell the lines.
Under 15 play St Gabriel's on Sunday at 11 in Corofin.
Under 13 team will play Claregalway in the league final following Claregalway’s win over Bearna in the playoff game played on Sunday last. No date has yet been set for the final.
Under 8 continue training on Saturday at 10 in Belclare.
Following New Zealand’s win the Rugby Championship 2013 (Formerly Tri Nations), the top seven remains the same on the leaderboard in the Club’s Prediction Quiz. Full details are on the website.

LADIES NOTES:
Senior ladies played in the County Final replay last Sunday 6th October. Unfortunately it wasn't to be their day and they lost out to Kilkerrin/Clonberne on a score line of Corofin 0-10 Kilkerrin/Clonberne 1-12. Hard luck ladies and management. The very best of luck to Kilkerrin/Clonberne in the Connacht Championship. Thank you to all who have supported the ladies on both days and throughout the year.
U10s travelled to Annaghdown last Saturday 5th October for their end of year blitz. Corofin had two teams competing at the blitz and both teams gave great displays of football. Their dedication to training throughout the year has paid off. Thank you to Annaghdown for hosting the blitz and a special word of thanks to Kieran Lyons for co-ordinating the whole event. Best of luck to Senior men in their county final at weekend.
