Hard luck to our The U-16s who lost to Craughwell in the Championship Shield Final, by two points. Theyplayed some great football throughout especially at start of the 2nd half. The fact that they never gave up right to the end showed great character for their young years. Thanks to their parents for their commitment to having them at training and matches throughout the year. It has been a pleasure watching them develop as players since they were U-10 and we wish them all the best in their future -Frank, Emily, Mike & JJ.
Under 15 training on Friday evening at 4.30 in corofin. We play Glenamaddy in Corofin at 11 on Saturday.
Under 13 league is reaching an exciting conclusion with Corofin, Claregalway and Barna level on points at the end of the group matches and involved in a three way playoff to decide what teams will qualify for the final. The first playoff game between Corofin and Barna takes place in Corofin pitch on Friday evening at 6.45pm. Support for our young players would be greatly appreciated. The winners of this game will qualify for the final and the losers will take on Claregalway on Tuesday next, 1st October in Claregalway also at 6.45pm where the losers will exit the league and the winners qualify for the final.
Under 10s would like to thank Monivea and Caherlistrane for their invite to their recent blitzes.
