Best wishes to the senior team who play Tuam Stars in Tuam Stadium at 2.30 on Sunday next, 16 September. Your support is always a big help to the team. The intermediate team were defeated by Ballinasloe 2-15 to 3-11 in a league game played in Ballinasloe on Friday 7 September. Congratulations to the minor team who defeated Mountbellew/Moylough in the North Minor A Championship Final replay played on Saturday 8 September in Tuam Stadium. The final score was 1-10 to 0-10, with the vital goal coming from Dylan Wall. Well done to the team and mentors. Under 16 team were beaten by Moycullen in the county U-16 championship semi final by 4 points, 2-9 to 1-8. Thanks to all the players and mentors of the U-16 team for their dedication and effort all year during which we won the county league shield. Under 15's play Dunmore on Sunday 16th at 12pm in Corofin. Last Saturday we had two Under 12 teams playing in the Longford Slashers' tournament. Team 1 took home the shield, defeating Killyclogher from Tyrone in the final. Team 2 were beaten in the semi final of the cup by Moorefield of Kildare by 2 points. This Saturday, September 15, we play the final of the St Gabriel's mini league against Monivea Abbey at 12pm. Team leaves Corofin pitch at 10.30 Under 10s play the annual Declan Kearns tournament on Saturday 15th in Tuam Stars pitch on the Dublin road starting at 10am. Under 8s and 6s continue training on Saturday at 10am in Belclare. The club has launched its new gear which is available from Patricia Langan. A small amount of the old gear still remains. This is now available at a bargain - half price. Contact Patricia at 087-9428819. Numbers drawn this week were 5, 7, 22, 24. There was no winner of the jackpot and one match three - Karena McNamara. Next week’s jackpot is €2,600 and the draw takes place in the Corralea Court, Tuam.
